Natalia Oreiro has a new challenge. An American movie "The Blue Mauritius" by famouse director Alexander Witt. The movie is about 5 thieves who want to steal the famous stamp. It's not confirmed yet that Natalia will really play in the movie.

New photos and an article will appear in a new issue of Argentinean magazine Hola, where is written "Natalia Oreiro and her countryside holiday in Carmelo".

1 hour long programme was about Natalia's life and career, commented by Natalia, her colleagues, people who work with her and even by her sister Adriana. The interview was filmed in hotel Four Seasons in Buenos Aires.



Natalia started talking about her childhood when she was still talking and she loved changing and trying clothes. She had to move with her family to Spain for two years. And after their return, they lived a year at Naty's grandma. Probably at 8, Natalia began studying theatre. Since 10 she has appeared in commercials. She filmed a commercial where she was walking with a dog (O.B.) and even Martín Sastre, a director of MT, still remembers the commercial. Then Naty won at show of Xuxa and with the money she won, she used to go to castings. She got a little role in Inconquistable corazón, later in Dulce Ana, Modelos 90-60-90 and Ricos y Famosos, where she played a lead role for the first time.

Movie Un Argentino en Nueva York Naty filmed right after soap opera Ricos y Famosos. In the casting, they were searching for a girl, who can act and sing. And when Naty was singing in choirs in Uruguay before, she was chosen. Naty enjoyed a filming of the movie in New York a lot and she had beautiful memories with Guillermo Francella. The movie brought her to music and she recorded her first album.

Also favourite actor Facundo Arana talked about Naty in the programme. He met Naty for the first time in 1994 and then he was her partner in famous soap opera Muneca Brava. According to Naty was Muneca Brava a typical soap opera, but with a humour and waggish tricks. She and Facundo has an amazing friends relationship.

After Muneca Brava she recorded her second album and she went to a world tour, and a first place she visited was Israel. Naty said that it's possible that she will return to recording of a new album, but now she has to find herself as an actress. In addition she talked about her love, Ricardo Mollo and soap opera Sos mi vida. Las Oreiro was a child dream, which was filfiled in 2007. Naty has always loved a fashion, accessories, colors, as she showed in her soap operas.

Naty mentioned movies where she played - Un Argentino en Nueva York, Cleopatra, Las vidas posibles, La Peli, Música en espera, Francia and Miss Tacuarembó. Martín Sastre said that during a filming of Miss Tacuarembó was a great climate with a lot of fun there, but only till Naty didn't see anyone with a chewing gum It makes her nervous and it bothers her since her childhood.

Adriana Oreiro about Naty said that she is an imazing sister and she is very grateful that she helped her to realise her dream to became a fashion designer. Naty is a person with a huge heart, she is kind and divine, like her nice Mia, said Adriana.

In the programme was also Claudio Divella talking about Naty. He is a photographer who takes photos with Naty quite often. He met Naty when he was taking photos for Modelos 90-60-90. And now Natalia's fans write him asking for a photo of Naty.

According to Facundo Arana is Natalia an angel.

Naty described herself like a woman with a different job, who was never left by the little girl, who was trying clothes in house of her grandma and who dreamed about being an actress. It pulls her forward to look for a different characters and to grow as an actress and a person. She is very curious and everything seems her to be great.

An Argentinean moderator Susana Gimenez invited the most successful personalities of the year to celebrate with them the end of 2010 and take photos for her December's issue of magazine Susana. Among invited celebrities was also Natalia Oreiro, Raúl Taibo, Pablo Ramírez and others. Nobody wanted to miss this opportunity. On January 28th there will be a premiere of Miss Tacuarembo in Spain. Natalia will go there to represent this film. The same month she will start filming a picture of Benjamin Avila, Infancia Clandestina. The story is developing during the period of the last military dictatorship. Ernesto Alterio y Cesar Troncoso will also participate in this movie. Her next project is Mi primera boda with Daniel Hendler. Its premiere will take place in August 2011. Also Natalia will join to the working staff of "Wakolda, a film of Lucia Puenzo. The story is about the period of Joseph Mengele’s life, when he lived during 6 months in Patagonia, escaping from the service of Israeli intelligence

Yesterday was on Russian television TVC broadcasted a document "Adventures of foreigners in Russia", where a part of it was devoted to Natalia, who filmed in Russia a series In rythm of tango and she learned Russian because of the filming. There were used scenes with Natalia, which were filmed in 2007 and most of them has been already used in show "A contact with star", broadcasted on 15.12.2007 on ORT TV.

Last Wednesday, on 10th November, held in Palermo a party of 18th anniversary of magazine Caras. Also Natalia Oreiro was present there, together with another Argentinean celebrities, Susana Gimenez or Mirtha Legrand.

Natalia said there: „My first important article in Caras was in 1998 when I went to a trip to Buzios (Brasil) with my family. I liked the trip very much. An agenda of Natalia Oreiro for 2011 has been finally adjusted. And this is the first movie, which will be filmed, "Infancia Clandestina" with a debutant director, but with plenty of experience with short movies.

"A child can imagine a lot of things. A birthday cake with a gun inside. Traveling to exotic places with secret missions. False family, where all always die for nothing. Hero, who never wins over the bad ones. A boy like he, but with different name. A girl, who always falls in love with a wrong boy. A child can imagine this and much more. And what can imagine Juan, a boy, for who is this all a reality. "Infancia Clandestina" (or what can imagine a child in a hide in Argentina, in a war)."

This is a story of another movie, which will be filmed with Natalia Oreiro. A story, where the main character is a boy, will be filmed in Buenos Aires in summer (here in winter). Benjamín Avila will be a director of this production by Luis Puenzo.

Later will Natalia join to Daniel Hendler (it could be Mike Amigorena, but he will be busy with a theatre) in a movie by Ariel Winograd, "Mi primera boda" and later a movie "Mala", an erotic thriller by Adrian Caetano.

Under the open meeting, organized by company Anda, is today held a live show in park Hispanidad. Since the morning will begin social activities aimed at members of Anda. Since 15 o'clock there will be a free access for public who can enjoy there music groups or a singer Jaime Roos. The two of them had lunch with a mutual friend and Stephen Bridgewater, the director of the movie. Lee and Stephen agreed that Natalia couldn't be more perfect to play the love interest of Lee's character Joe Gilmore. Yesterday was broadcasted almost one hour long programme Consentidas, where Naty talked about her projects, past and also love. I will try to summarize the programme...

In the beginning Natalia presented movie Francia, she decribed the plot and her character and she said also something about 3 movies in which she is going to play. Moderators went back to Martín Fierro Awards 2006 when all media wrote about booing incident against Natalia. But Naty said there was no booing incident and she was just touched of the award which she won.

Furthermore they talked about dance. Naty said she is not a good dancer, but she danced in Miss Tacuarembó. She said she likes tango, but she doesn't dance with Ricardo, because musicians don't dance.

In the programme there were short inputs of Natalia's parents who talked about their daughter and her childhood. Natalia's father said about her daughter that she is a good person, solidary, hardworking and good friend.Naty remembered that in childhood she doesn't like hanging with the girls, even if sometimes she went somewhere with them. She prefered soliture.

Another topic was love. Naty talked about falling in love with Ricardo, who is 20 years older, according to her he has the most beautiful smile, she has ever seen.

Yesterday, on 15th September, was held in Puerto Madero a fashion show of Las Oreiro in navy style, called Lolita. In the collection for spring-summer can be found jeans (Natalia told about them in interview for Cosmopolitan) and glasses for the first time.
After the catwalk, Natalia with Adriana gave interviews to various media.

Since yesterday is Natalia Oreiro in Uruguay together with Adrian Caetano to promote movie Francia, which has its premiere in Uruguay on 24th September. Naty will film with Adrian movie Mala and in the next months she will film Mi primera boda and Inocencia Clandestina.

Natalia gave an interview for Canal 12, where she talked about the movie, her role of Cristina. She said again that she doesn't like to work with children, because children should play not work. Further she said that at the end of this year she will film Inocencia Clandestina, then Mi primera boda and in the next year Mala. And she confirmed, she awaits a return to television in the second half of the next year.

According to the latest news was already chosen her television partner, Mariano Martínez. Naty will portray a policewoman, comes from a millionaire family. Yesterday was held a presentation of Green Film Festival in ambassy of United Kingdom in Buenos Aires. Natalia is a godmother of this project with a motto "Culture in harmony of planet", and today she could film videos to draw attention to basic issues of quality of our lifes using the film as a medium that will bring information and fun to people. The film festival is held since 12th to 16th August in theatres of Cinemark Palermo.

Graciela Borges, Ricardo Darín, Georgina Barbarossa, Virginia Innocenti and Boy Olmy are personalities which accompanied Natalia in this initiative.

Natalia also expressed support to Florencia Peòa, who was in danger after she said her opinion in favour of legalization of abortions. Natalia said: "It's horrible, we all have a right to express what we think in every topic."



Today is filmed with Naty a television programme "Tiene la Palabra" broadcasted on Argentinean television TN tomorrow at 22 pm. Naty was a guest of this show already in 2005.

Yesterday took part two charity events, where is Natalia present every year. There were no exception this year. Naty, as a godmother, was a guest of an event Domingo Amigo, in Montevideo, Uruguay. Firstly she talked to the leaders, accompanied by Sofia Silvera and other children from Miss Tacuarembó and then she sang Rio de la Plata. Collected amount was 711.328 USD.





Later Naty turned back to Buenos Aires to take part in 12hours long marathon Un sol para los chicos which was broadcasted live on Canal 13. Naty led a part of the programme. For children and organization Unicef were collected 8.161.642 Pesos.

On the 30th July was Natalia in presetation of a new campaign by company Anda in Casa Central in Montevideo. "Natalia Oreiro is a person, identified in many Uruguayan people, interested in social and politic solidarity, that's why Anda identifies with a person of Natalia and we are sure that the campaign will be succesfull," said a representative of the company. Sisters Oreiro chose a city Piriápolis (Uruguay), to take there photos for a new collection spring-summer by Las Oreiro. Ministry of tourism will use the photos for a promotion of the place. Natalia and Adriana came to Piriápolis yesterday, accompanied by a production crew (makeup, photographers, stylists and assistants) of 9 persons. They all stayed in the hotel Argentino and at 9 o'clock started the shooting.

Sisters own a shop in Palermo Hollywood in Buenos Aires and they are about to expand to Uruguay this year. A new collection is inspired by a movie Lolita. "The protagonist travels a lot, and it brought us to do this campaign in Piriápolis, in addition it has several paradise beaches and an unique landscape which led us to the fact that Natalia might promote this place and a country as a tourist destination," commented Adriana Oreiro.

For the photos, which were taken yesterday, was used a red Volkswagen and veteran bicycle to express "retro". "Naty and me love the 40's and 50's and it's always inspire us for the aesthetic of hair and clothes," said Adriana. Among other places, chosen for the photos, belongs a spa promenade, beach Colorada, port and a building of hotel Argentino. A sister of an actress confessed that Natalia was freezing a lot during the shooting, but they are both excited to be in Uruguay.

The new collection will be presented in parade on 15th September in Buenos Aires. The clothes have a lot of red colour, paints, stripes, dots and hearts.

On Sunday, 8th August 2010 is held another edition of charity marathon Un sol para los chicos in Luna Park in Buenos Aires, leaded by Natalii Oreiro. Personalities of Canal 13 will take turns in leading of the 12 hours long marathon, in benefit of Unicef. Unfortunatelly in the same day should held an Uruguayan charity marathon Domingo Amigo, which helps to children with cancer and Natalia as a godmother is present there every year.

There are also information that Natalia will not play in a movie Viudas (Widows) with Graciela Borges, whose filming should start in the second half of February in the next year. Firstly should a filming start in August, later in December and according to latest news it will start in February. We will see if it fits with Natalia's agenda in the next year.

Yesterday a group of demonstrants was standing in front of a cinema where a preview of the movie held. Naty planned to go to Mendoza today, to support her new movie Miss Tacuarembó, but a last day before a premiere she suffered by a nervous breakdown and she canceled her trip. It was confirmed by Lucas Mestante, a movie producer, who explained that "last night people cried to Natalia because of a flame in the movie, Natalia couldn't go through, she get nervous, she had a panick attack and decided not to be present at the preview." A producer of the movie was a victim of demonstration organized by SICA (Sindicato de la Industria Cinematográfica Argentina), because in the movie were working technicians without work permision or a visa.

In the programme Naty talked about meeting of Dani Umpi and Martin Sastre on a day of Natalia's birthday and how they offered her to film the movie. Natalia talkes also about a crisis which she lived when she was on tour. She couldn't manage to sing, be on tour and act in the same time. Futhermore she spoke about rock songs, composed by her husband Ricardo, because Ale Sergi didn't have the face to compose rock songs. The discussion moved to a hot topic in Argentina, gay marriages. Naty confirmed that now she promotes movie Miss Tacuarembó and in September she is going to film movie Mi primera boda. At the end of the show appeared there also a little star, Sofi Silvera. The show lasted 1,5 hour with the live guests.

According to Uruguayan newspaper El País, will be a premiere of the movie Miss Tacuarembó in Uruguay, already on 2nd July and on 15th July in Argentina. Previously published date was 8th July. And premiere in Spain is planned for September. The movie is in the process of sound control and other technical parametrs.

On the premiere is expected a presence of the big protagonist Natalia Oreiro, with Ale Sergi and also Ricardo Mollo, who contributed with one song composition. Producers and a director await a decision of Spanish actress Rossy de Palma and Venezuelan actress Jeannette Rodriguez if they are present at the premiere as well. Of course, there will be the movie's children, Sofia Silvera and the twins Ema and María Pía Prato. Now they are also still working on the inclusion of names of girls who participated in the online casting and their agreement to publish their names in the final film's information.

It will be the 6th movie of Carnevale, who has uneven film career, because he combines good movies and movie blockbusters with more slack movies in the case of "Almejas y mejillones." Graciela Borges is going to come to the Czech Republic soon, to be present at film festival in Karlovy Vary and represent there a movie "Dos hermanos".

In the last days, many websites wrote that Natalia should lead a prestigious Argentinean awards of television Martín Fierro. Natalia was invited to lead the whole evening together with Roberto Pettinato and she was very delighted from the offer, which she accepted. After filming on the square Intendencia in Cordoba, talked beautiful brunette for radio Cadena 3 about her working present and future.
"Miss Tacuarembó is movie, whose filming was finished on Sunday. I am more then satisfied, because it's very special movie, music comedy, talks about friendship, toleration of dreams and a fight for what we want. A half was filmed in Uruguay an the other part in Argentina," she said.

Already yesterday in the evening in the hotel Sheraton held a press conference for announcement of the end of filming the movie Miss Tacuarembó. Yesterday afternoon, on 26th March, in cemetery of Canelones, where was filmed a part of the movie Miss Tacuarembó, handed a mayor of Canelones, Ing. Estanislao Chiazzaro, over some gifts to Natalia Oreiro, who said that she had never received an award like that. The mayor gave her a platelet "Amiga de Canelones" (Friend of Canelones), CD Julio Sosa and others.

The filming of the movie "Miss Tacuarembó" started on Monday in Santa Rosa city, in Canelones region, where will be the movie filmed till 10th April. The city Santa Rosa was chosen, because there are several places very similar those in Tacuarembo, so that's why there are filmed some scenes. E.g. scenes in square, in church or in local house, equiped for this occasion. About hundred of inhabitants joined to the casting and many of them will play in the movie.

The first filming day was held in one house, where were filmed scenes of the main protagonist like a teenager. The house is situated in the Mevir I neighbourhood, and is fully equiped for the time, in which is the movie enacted, 80's of the last century. The house is pink from the outside and blue from the inside, exactly according to the novel. Natalia was very expectated and her first filming day ended at midnight, but she also found time to greet local inhabitants. In Tuesday was the filming moved to the church, which is situated on the other side of the city and they worked till 23 o'clock.

The movie is directed by Martín Sastre and based on the novel by Dani Umpi. Till 10th April will be the movie filmed in Montevideo and in it's surroundings. The movie is in coproduction of three countries: Uruguay, Argentina and Spain.

Miss Tacuarembó, is the name according to a novel by Dani Umpi, directed by Martín Sastre and with original songs, composed by Ale Sergi, a leader of the band Miranda!. It's a story of the girl, who wants to be like her film and television heroines. Despite of the adversity, she doesn't give up, because she knows that once the world will give her ovations.
