Natalia is on the cover of the Uruguayan edition of Caras magazine with a new interview.

Argentinian photographer Gabriel Machado shared the trailer (pilot episode) for the Imanus project, a fantasy comedy where all magic is possible at any cost. He created the project in 2017 with his daughter, Paz Machado, and Diego Betancor, and planned the project to see the light of day as a series or film. The cast of the project was stellar: Natalia Oreiro, Carla Peterson, Julieta Cardinali, Griselda Siciliani, Diego Ramos, Elena Roger, Esteban Meloni and Mercedes Carreras.

Gabriel said about the project: "Everything takes place in a magical spa from the 1950s, it's related to cinema and personalities from that time, and we play with the theme of time. One of the protagonists can see what's to come, her catchphrase is "The future is chasing me", she sees what's coming and she doesn't like it. That character is clearly me."

Neither the movie nor the series was ever made and probably never will be filmed.

Natalia arrived in an outfit made of silver metallic mesh, fitted to the body and with a halter neckline that also covered her head. She completed the look with matching gloves and sandals. The dress was made with over 30,000 metal hoops and over 200 hours of work and its weight was 25 kg. The idea came from Natalia along with her stylist Luli Gemelli, who approached Aldana de Ghoda from Uruguay to create the dress.

Filming of the series La jefa... aunque no quiera (The boss against her will) continues in Buenos Aires and here its story:
Vanesa Mastone (Natalia Oreiro), is a professor of Argentine literature in Paris, who suddenly has to return to Argentina after 20 years living in France, after the unexpected death of her father Carlos. Upon arrival, she discovers that her father, the owner of a local discotheque, is actually the leader of a road pirate gang that includes almost all of her family members.

Shocked by this discovery, Vanessa must deal with a family gang that has been left without a boss and doesn't know what to do next. Vanessa doesn't seem to fit the role of boss at all, but over time she manages to take on the role of boss...albeit against her will.

The series is supposed to have 6 episodes and is supposed to hit the screens in 2025.

Yesterday, a presentation of an Argentine production for Netflix was held in Buenos Aires, where the film Campamentó con mamá with Natalia in the leading role was also presented. The premiere date has not been announced. Natalia's son, Merlín Atahualpa, will also star in the film.

On July 18th, 1994, exactly 30 years ago, Natalia moved from her native Montevideo to Buenos Aires, Argentina and began to build her career. She dreamed of being an actress. Now she is known all over the world, mainly thanks to the telenovela Wild Angel, which became a phenomenon.
In those 30 years, she released 4 solo music albums, performed in many soap operas, series and more than 20 films. Naty is about to start filming new movie today, the 3rd movie this year. La Mujer de la fila, is a movie directed by Benjamínem Avila (Infancia clandestina), based on true stories. It says a story of a women whose son ends up in jail falsely accused for a misdemeanor he did not commit. Now she must dedicate his days to freeing him from jail. To release him, she has to face the bureaucracy of the judicial system, prisoner abuse, but above all her own prejudices, values and beliefs. She will realize of this powerful change when she can't help falling in love with a convict.

Russia is filming a documentary about the telenovela Muñeca Brava (Wild Angel). The telenovela has been broadcasted 14 times in Russia, and the last time two years ago, said journalist and documentary producer Daria Onegina. The documentary reconstructs the story of Cholito, Natalia's character. The director said that the reason why the documentary is being filmed is that there were no social networks, digital television, or the Internet at the time of filming, so very little is known about the process of filming and creating a telenovela. And the telenovela still has a lot of fans. The filming team also filmed at the locations where the telenovela was filmed and they also worked with archives.

The documentary will also include interviews with the actors who potrayed roles in the telenovela. "We have interviewed Verónica Vieyra (Victoria), Marcelo Mazzarello (Rocky) and Pablo Novak (Bobby). We are currently in talks with Natalia Oreiro's management and my biggest concern is Facundo Arana," Daria said. A few days ago, the actor shared on his Instagram that he was in the hospital to remove an early stage of cancer. "I understand he's in trouble right now, but I hope I will film an interview with him as well," said the producer. The interview with the soap opera's author Enrique Torres was also filmed.

Naty returned home after spending a month in Russia. She was filming a film - a fairy tale Letter to Santa Claus, whose strict contract, which she had already signed before the start of the war, did not allow her, among other things, to appear in public and take pictures with fans.
Filming of the movie continues until the end of May, filming with Natalia took place in St. Petersburg, Moscow and in the Karelia region near the border with Finland.
Animated characters, toys and imaginary beings will appear in the film. According to the script, the boy Vanya finds letters that his forty-year-old father wrote to Santa Claus as a child. A child puts letters in a New Year's mailbox and miracles begin...
Naty should return to Russia for the premiere of the film, which is scheduled for 2026.
