Organization Peluffo Giguens was set up in 70 age of the last century. Now this organization tries to help to children with a cancer and anually organizes event called "Domingo Amigo" (Sunday's friend). This event is held since 1998 in Uruguay and lasts 6 hours. During these hours are alternating on the stage singers and bands. In 1999 Natalia became a godmother of this event. This programme is always broadcasted live and people can with a call help to get money for ill children.


Naty has participated at this event already several times. She joined to an organization Giguens Peluffo, on Sunday 20th June 1999 for the first time. At this event they received money to help children to get new organs and replace the ill ones. Naty sang for children her hit Cambio Dolor.



On 30th July 2000, since 14 o'clock was Natalia present at event "Domingo Amigo" in Palace Penarol in Montevideo. She sang Que si, que si with children with cancer and then she was telephoning with people who donate money for ill children. Natalia was accompanied by her sister Adriana.



On 24th June 2001 appeared Naty at charity event "Domingo amigo" again. She sang Cambio Dolor, Que si, que si, Tu veneno and Rio de la Plata. The same night Naty flew to Miami.



Naty didn't miss either year 2002, when she went to Montevideo on 28th July, to help the organization Peluffo get money for Uruguayan children. She sang there even if she had a flu.



On 15th June 2003 was Natalia present at Domingo Amigo as well and she was accompanied by her mum Mabel. About 15:30 appeared Natalia on the stage and sang her most famous songs, gave autographs and kisses.



In August 2004 was Naty, as a protagonist of a soap opera El Deseo, accompanied by her husband Ricardo. Naty sang Rio de la Plata and Cuesta arriba, cuesta abajo, gave autographs and telephoned with people who wanted to help to children.



In 2005 Naty couldn't participate there, because she was in Calafate to film a movie Las vidas posibles. But in this year, she visited an Uruguayan hospital with children with cancer and she gave them presents and spent with them several hours.



In 2006 she traveled to Uruguay with her colleague and friend Facundo Arana. She sang Rio de la Plata and Corazón Valiente and they made a great show together. Naty said to the press: "It's great to help people. It's already several years when this organization organizes these events and I always enjoy these meetings. I always feel fine, when I fly to my country and even more when it's because of to give help hand to people.". Natalia donated to organization a sporting costume of football team Rampla Juniors.



A year later, on 29th July 2007 Naty came to her country of birth again. This time she was alone and sang Cuesta arriba, cuesta abajo and Rio de la plata again. During live 6 hours long broadcasting, full of performances of singers and famous people were earned money for children who really need them. The earning was 256.000 USD. There were waiting a lot of people and children for Naty, who wanted at least greet her, gave her a kiss or just get some gesture by Naty. During the event Naty gave an interview for magazine Gente. After this charity event Naty came back to Buenos Aires with her mother and sister and her husband Ricardo, who was waiting for her at the airport.
Naty also visited the home of the organization "La campaòa", where she met 25 children with cancer, who live there.



In 2008 should Natalia arrived to Uruguay for this event, she was ready, but because of canceled flights, she couldn't arrive. She spoke with moderators by mobile phone and she promised that she will come next year and she will sing!


There was a spot on TV with Natalia where she said people to take part of Domingo Amigo event. On Sunday, 20th August 2009 was Natalia, as a godmother, present at annual event Domingo Amigo (Sunday's friend), as she promised. This year it was held since 14 to 20 o'clock. Natalia appeared there about 17:20 and she gave an interview about her projects, plans... About 18 o'clock she appeared on the stage and after 2 years she started singing again. Tu veneno and Rio de la Plata were the songs, which made an audience dancing. About half past six she said goodbye. This year were for the children with cancer collected US$ 625.315, which was more then 70 000 dollars more then in the previous year.



Sunday 8th August 2010 was quite busy for Natalia. After 16 o'clock she was present at Domingo Amigo event, as a goodmother. She was like a moderator of the small event's part and she was there together with small protagonists of Miss Tacuarembó movie. A little bit later she was on stage singing Rio de la Plata, as every year. In front of Complejo Plaza, there were waiting many fans for her. Natalia gave them several minutes to take photos with her. Collected amount was higher then last year, 711.328 USD. The programme was broadcasted live on Uruguayan channels Canal 4, 5, 10 and 12, VTV, TCC, Montecable and Nuevo Siglo. After her one hour long visit she was in hurry to flight back to Buenos Aires, for another charity event.



On 30th July 2011 was held the charity event again. Natalia couldn't be present there personally, because she was filming a miniseries in Colombia. But it was planned she will be present via Skype. Although she had some connection problems so she was on phone. She confessed she couldn't come this time, because she is working the whole days on the miniseries in Colombia. And she calls on people to donate money for children with cancer, what is the aim of organization Peluffo Giguens, which organizes this event. Hosts congratulated Natalia to her pregnancy and Naty confirmed she is going home in two weeks.

On August 9th 2011 arount 15:45 Natalia visited children, who are treated for cancer, in medical center "La campana", to perk them up, gave several smiles, hugs and autograms. Naty was surprised from presence of so many cameras and flashes and at entrance she said: "They didn't tell me that it's with presence of press, I thought it's a private meeting between me and the children." Representatives of the house invited the press but Natalia didn't like it a lot and she said: "I came to enjoy tranquil afternoon with children and I think that so much exposure is not right." Natalia was in 6th month of pregnancy and that interested press very much.



During filming of telenovela Solamente vos Natalia filmed a spot for foundation Peluffo to its 25th anniversary and she said: "Hello friends from foundation Peluffo! This special night I want to send you a big hug and to congratulate you for 25 years! 25 years of solidarity, 25 years of hope and 25 years of love. For me it's a honour to be a godmother of this foundation for 15 years, to accompany all these years children at solidarity festivals. This time I cannot be present, because I am working, but my heart is with you. Congratulations to the whole team of Pellufo and big thanks to all companies which years and years collaborate to bring families from outside to accompany their children. Sending big kiss and wish the success continue! Bye."



In the middle of August was filmed a video with Natalia where she promoted the new edition of charity event Domingo Amigo which was held on August 30th in Montevideo. Natalia do not attend the charity marathon Domingo Amigo by organization Peluffo Giguens because she was filming the final episodes of series Entre Caníbales. She filmed at least a video greeting where she asked for colaboration and promised that she will visit Hogar La Campana where children with cancer are treated.



"On Sunday October 2th I will be at Domingo Amigo event helping a foundation Peluffo Giguens in the fight against cancer. Also you can help, we count on you." Said Natalia in a promo video for charity event Domingo Amigo. The event started on October 2nd at 13 o'clock in Sala Teatro del Movie in Montevideo and Naty performed song No me arrepiento de este amor. The donations were 3 205 690 Pesos for children.



In May Natalia informed in a promo video about event Relevo por la vida, which was planned to be held on October 7th and 8th first time in Uruguayi. She talked about the event again in other video at the end of September.
On Saturday,. 7th October, Natalia took part of the first edition ov event Relevo por la vida in Pista de Atletismo (athletic stadium) in Montevideo. It was a 24 hour long walk or run event as an opportunity to meet up, celebrate life, get involved in fight against cancer and get money for foundation Peluffo Giguens. Natalia also performed songs No me arrepiento de este amor, Fuiste, acapella Cambio dolor and Valor at the event.

On November 23rd Natalia filmed another video greeting supporting foundation Peluffo Giguens and campaign of radio Oceano FM to help ill children and their families in medical center "Hogar La Campana".



On October 11th 2018 Natalia filmed a greeting for the Peluffo Giguens Foundation, where she invited for the second edition of the charity event Relevo por la vida. The event took place on Saturday 20th October at 4 pm at Campo Deportivo del Ejército in Montevideo. Natalia participated in the event and performed with the song Rio de la plata.
